Joan Marie Jolly

Joan Marie Jolly, 87, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022, at NHC Healthcare in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Visitation will be 2 pm until the 3 pm memorial service, Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram with Rev. Glynn Pope of Lakeshore Methodist Church will be presiding. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Vicksburg, Mississippi on Monday, November 14, 2022.

Ms. Jolly was born February 5, 1935, in Vicksburg, MS to the late John Wilkerson and Dolly Moore Wilkerson. She was an accountant for Stuart C Irby for many years.

Preceded in death by her parents, John and Dolly Wilkerson and her husband, Herbert M. Jolly. 

Survivors include her son, Gregory Thomas Thornton, Sr. of Estill Springs, Tennessee; grandchildren, Gregory Thornton, Jr. (Carissa) and Lee Thornton (Kayla) and great grandchildren, Ethan and Parker.
