Jimmie Jones

Leon Jones, 62, of Fairview, TN, formerly of Terry, passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 in Texas.\ \ Visitation will be 5-8pm Monday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram and 11 until the 1pm funeral service Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rosemont Gardens.\ \ Born in Lambert, MS to the late James Richard and Evelyn Ward Jones, Mr. Jones had been a resident of Fairview TN since 2008, coming from Terry. He was a heavy equipment mechanic with Tessco, working the last 2 years in Possum Kingdom Lake, TX. Mr. Jones was a member of First Baptist Church of Terry. He loved his family and was a hard worker.\ \ He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Jones, son, Jimmie Robert Jones and daughter, Beverly Purvis (David), all of Fairview, TN; brother, Billie Jones, of Tulsa, OK; sister, Faye Woods, of Terry; and 2 grandchildren, Christiana and Zachary Purvis\
