Jerry Jeanette Presley

Jerry Jeanette Presley,86, born August 9, 1937, in Port Arthur, TX, has peacefully passed away March 22, 2024, in Jackson, MS. She was a beloved resident of Jackson for the past 60 years after spending her early years in Texas.
 
Jerry was a woman of great faith and cherished her church community at Thornhill Baptist Church in Pelahatchie. She had a deep love for Elvis Presley's music and often found joy in singing, especially songs about Jesus. Her vibrant personality shone through as she engaged in conversations with others and enjoyed spending time reading. Jerry was also known to be a social butterfly, relishing the moments spent with her friends at the nursing home.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Loulee Perkins Simmons, her husband Bruce Presley, her brother C.L. Simmons and sister-in-law Charlotte Simmons, as well as three other brothers.
 
Jerry leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories to her surviving family and friends. She is survived by her daughters Lisa Smith of Florence and Donna Watts and husband Donnie of Raleigh, MS. In addition, she is survived by her grandson Justin Kisner of Raleigh and granddaughter Brandi Fairchild and husband Brad of Magee.
 
Jerry Jeanette Presley will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May she rest in peace knowing that she touched the lives of many with her loving spirit and kind heart.
