Jerry Wayne King

Jerry Wayne King, born on July 10, 1964, in Magee, Mississippi, passed away on June 20, 2026, in Jackson, Mississippi at the age of 61.

Jerry is survived by his children: daughters; Ashley Johnston and Lindsey Graham; son, Dillon King. He also leaves behind his sister, Sherry Steele(Jeff); grandchildren, Skyler Graham(Alec), Danielle Graham, and Phillip Daniel Graham III, and his great-grandchild, Elora Faith Abraham.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Rita King; and his brothers, Eddie and Frankie King.

Jerry Wayne King's legacy is reflected in his love for music starting at an early age. He became a well known musician in the Jackson area, having played at all the bars and juke joints around town. He spent the majority of his time playing music and his love for the night life was his passion.
