Jeffrey "Jeff" Lewis Vaughn

Jeff Vaughn, 58 of Florence, MS went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 18, 2025. 

Jeff was born in Jackson, MS on October 20, 1966, and was the son of Shalley and Maxine Vaughn. He graduated from Florence High School in 1984. He was certified in HVAC and Commercial/Residential plumbing and co-owner in a local business. Jeff was a much loved father, husband, brother, friend, and a wonderful example of what it means to love Jesus. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Florence serving as a deacon and Sunday School teacher for many years, and he also worked on many mission projects as well.

Jeff was preceded in death by his wife of 19 years, Gina Vaughn. He is survived by his children lan Vaughn and Anna Vaughn, brother Kevin Vaughn, sister Sandy Blackwell as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jeff was a great outdoorsman who loved to spend time with his family and friends hunting. Also a big sports fan, he volunteered as a football and baseball coach in the Florence community, touching the lives of many youths in our community. Jeff was well known for lending a hand anytime help was needed.

A memorial service to honor the life of Jeff Vaughn will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Florence, MS with the family welcoming friends for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. hour of service.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Florence, MS Food Pantry.
