James Weeks, Sr.

James Dudley Weeks, Sr. 81, passed away Monday, April 14, 2008 at his home in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8pm Tuesday, April 15, 2008 and 9:30am until the 11:00am funeral service Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow in Rosemont Gardens.\ \ Mr. Weeks was a native of Gulfport and veteran of the U.S. Navy. He had worked for Armour & Co. as a Smoke Meat Foreman and was of the Methodist faith.\ \ Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Lucy Ann Weeks of Jackson; sons, James Weeks Jr. of Prentiss, Tommy Weeks of Henderson, NV; daughters, Shirley Williams of Jackson, Brinda Morris of Atlanta, GA; step-children, Theresa Jones of Jackson, Lisa Hudson of Magee, Ricky Gressett of Jackson; brother, Durwood Weeks of Clinton; sisters, Mary Graves and Vicki Hensley both of Gulfport, Lollie Blakeman of Purvis, Lelia Frankie of Shreveport, LA, Jodie Brownson of Elgin, IL; 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.\ \ On line guest book available at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com.\
