Mr. James Dudley "Pop Pop" Morgan Jr.

James Dudley “Pop Pop” Morgan, Jr., 78, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016 due to natural causes at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. The Funeral Service will be at 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 17th at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence with visitation from 2-4 PM. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories in Florence. Dudley was born October 23, 1937 in Greenwood, MS to James and Florence Morgan. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Navy and was retired from South Center Bell as a Service Technician. Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Morgan. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mrs. Nancy Morgan; son, Jimmy (Janine) Morgan; brother, Bill (June) Morgan; sisters, Mary Ethel Duggins, Josephine (Tildon) Gross, Carolyn Little, and Florence (Greg) Geoghagan; and grandchildren, Rayne Morgan, Hunter Morgan, J.P. Morgan, Ryan Bell and Hunter Bell. Memorials may be made in his name to Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.
