Mr J.C. Shuler

J. C. Shuler, 77, went to be with his Lord, Friday, March 31, 2017 at his home. Visitation is scheduled Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the 2:00 PM Funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home, Byram. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park. A native of Kosciusko, Mr. Shuler lived in Raymond since 1991, moving there from Jackson. He retired from Jackson Transit and was a member and deacon for Beacon Hill Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vester & Thelma Moss Shuler; daughter, Angela Jeannette Shuler Roberts; sister, Margie Gross; brother, Clyde Shuler; mother-in-law, Mary Elizabeth McNeil Brewer and a great grandchild Emmerson Edward Worley. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Mary Brewer Shuler; daughters Twila (Scott) Hansen, Cindy (Jeff) White, and Melissa (Curtis) Smith; sons Jason (Mary Elizabeth) Shuler, Jimmy Shuler and Kevin Shuler; sisters Velma Dean, Martha Blair, Diane Scocchio, and Darlene Payment; brothers Ronnie Shuler and Brad Shuler; ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren and one on the way.
