Mr. Israel Lee Hodges

Israel Lee Hodges, 43, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020 at his residence in Florence, MS. The family will hold a memorial at a later date. Israel was born July 3, 1976 to the late Tommy Lee Hodges and Patricia McKinnon in Jackson, MS. He owned and operated Hodges Construction. Israel loved hard, played hard and worked hard. He did everything to the best of his ability. “There is nothing EZ about EZ” except loving him, even when you didn’t want to. Along with his parents, he is also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Herbert Dahl and his Ernie Bernie. Israel is preceded in death by his wife, Shalane Hodges of Florence; sons, Sean Ashley, Charles Russell, and Daniel Dahl; daughters, Taylor Hodges (Jessica Bennett), Trinity Hodges, and Corine Hodges; grandchild, Armani Ashley; mother-in-law, Merle Dahl; a host of extended family and many friends.
