Howard Boykin

Howard F. Boykin, 71, died Monday September 1, 2008 at his residence. Visitation will be held Tuesday September 2 from 5 until 8pm at Chancellor Funeral Home of Byram, and from 1 until service time at 2pm at Griffith Memorial Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Rosemount Gardens Cemetery in Jackson.\ \ Mr. Boykin was born the son of Winston and Della Mae Wood Boykin, on September 17, 1936 in Taylorsville, MS, and was married to Billie McDaniel. He was a member of Griffith Memorial Baptist Church and a Truck driver for Cap Welding Supplies. \ \ Howard Boykin was preceded in death by his parents, son David Boykin and a sister Erma L. Roberson.\ \ Survivors include his wife Billie Boykin, daughters Donna Ausborn of Pearl and Katherine Hankins of Atlanta, GA; son William Boykin of Vicksburg; Sisters Nonnie Lee Roberson, Lillie Chestnut; four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.\ \ Chancellor Funeral Home of Byram is in charge of local arrangements\
