Wynette Ishee, age 87, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026. 

She is survived by her daughter Kerri King, grandchildren Amanada Schexnayder (Casey), Joey Beavers (Brooke), Jessica King, Wade King (Reagan), and Emily Leverett plus six great grandchildren. She is also by one sister, Kay Chisholm and a number of nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul; her daughters Kathy and Connie; her son-in-law Ernest King; her parents; one sister and two brothers.

She retired from Sears after 30+ years in the Service Department. She enjoyed cross stitching, crocheting, quilting, sewing, playing games such as Bridge and Bunco. She loved flowers.

Everyone loved her smile and sense of humor.

In the last days she was looking forward to meeting Jesus and being reunited with Paul, Kathy, Connie and other loved one who preceded her in death. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Raymond Road Baptist Church, 4622 Raymond Road, Jackson, Mississippi, 39212.
