Harry Clayton Quinn, III, age 70, left this earth on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, to be with his Heavenly Father and be reunited with his wife, Annette.
Clay lived life to it’s fullest. He loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles, hunting and fishing. These were the things he took great passion in. He was a member of Alta Woods Baptist Church for many years. He also loved his country. He was a lifetime member of ABATE of MS(Central Chapter). While active in ABATE he held positions of Secretary-Treasury, Assistant Director, Chapter Director, and intern Assistant State Director. Other hobbies were listening to music, working in his yard, going to New Orleans Saints games, and hanging out with his many friends and fellow motorcycle riders.
Clay worked for over 32 years at Armstrong World Industries of Jackson, MS. He was a member of the United Steel Workers Union Local 363. He took great pride in his work and always had time to smile or help all his co-workers.
Clay also worked as a stagehand for Thalia Mara Hall and the MS Coliseum in Jackson, MS. He was a member of the Stagehand Union, IATS E Local 589.
Clay was born June 20, 1953, to Harry Clayton Quinn, Jr and Emily Esteen Quinn. Clay was preceded in death by his wife, Paula Annette Quinn and daughter, Tiffany Marie Quinn; his parents, Harry Clayton Quinn, Jr, and Emily Esteen Quinn; and his faithful companion, Blue Healer, TBeaux.
He is survived by his sister, Beverly Quinn Weeks, brother-in-law, Steve Weeks, of Madison; nephews, Dr. Stephen Weeks, Dr. Christopher Clayton Weeks, and Dr. Andrew Weeks all of Jackson. He is also survived by his aunts, Dorothy Scadden of Texas, Betty Quinn Allred of Brookhaven, cousins, Duane Allred, Terry and Denise Quinn Fortenberry of LA and CA.
