Harlon Bubba Don Caldwell

Harlon "Bubba” Don Caldwell, born July 17, 1958, passed away on April 3, 2026. A respected businessman and devoted family man, Harlon was the owner and operator of 49 Truck & Trailer, a testament to his commitment to hard work and entrepreneurial spirit. When he decided to close his business for a less stressful venture, he finished his career retiring from Eaton Aerospace.

 Harlon was a valued member of Heritage Baptist Church in Byram, where he nurtured his faith and connection to the community. Among his personal passions were fishing and watching football, with a special enthusiasm for the New Orleans Saints. These hobbies offered him joy and relaxation throughout his life.Above all else, Harlon cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren, taking immense pride in attending all of their sporting events. His family was the cornerstone of his happiness and legacy.

He is survived by his daughter, Kendra McFall of Florence; son, Kristian Caldwell; and grandchildren Devin Smith, Damon Caldwell, Lana Caldwell, Rylan McFall, and Kellan McFall. Harlon also leaves behind his sister, Sandra Eldridge, and her husband Jimmy of Edwards, along with several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will remember him fondly.Harlon was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Sr. and Nellie Faye Caldwell, and his brother, Harvey Caldwell Jr.

Visitation will be held on April 7, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home Florence, located at 2576 US 49 in Florence, Mississippi. Funeral services will follow from 3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m., with interment commencing at 3:45 p.m. at the same location.

Bubba Caldwell’s life stands as a powerful example of dedication to family, faith, and community. His legacy will endure in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
