Mrs. Glenda Kee Marler Gardner

Mrs. Glenda Kee Marler Gardner passed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, July 16, 2021 at her home in Florence. She was 79 years old. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 in the Garden of Memories cemetery in Florence, next to Chancellor Funeral Home. Glenda was a current resident of Florence, MS, formerly of Forest MS. She was born on, August 15, 1941. She was a devoted Christian, Mother and wife. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the loves of her life. She also enjoyed flowers, gardening, cooking and playing scrabble. After high school she worked as a telephone operator for Bell South. Later she opened Glenda's Nursery in Forest for many years and was loved by all. She was preceded in death by her husband Clell Gardner of Forest, Mother Dee Marler and Father Fred Marler of Morton; She is survived by Two children: her Son Michael Gardner (Kathy) and Daughter Marla Baucum (Paul) of Florence; Two granddaughters; Katelyn and Jamee; and one grandson Grayson; four great grand children; Conner, John Axel, Anna Bella, and Christopher. Three sisters Geraldine Goss, Miriam Mahaffey, and Fredna Hodges.
