Gerald Smith, Sr.

Sixty-four years ago on February 17, 1944, Van and Ruby Smith were blessed with a beautiful baby boy, Gerald Max Smith and Gerald began his earthly journey. On May 30, 2008, his spirit was transferred from this life to the sunny banks of sweet deliverance.\ \ Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 1 p.m. a homegoing service will be held at Jesus Name Tabernacle. Visitation will be Monday, June 2 from 5-8 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and Tuesday, June 3, 12 noon until services at the church. His earthly vessel will be placed in Jesus Name Tabernacle Cemetery.
