Mr. George Winston McCoard, 85, died Saturday, September 3, 2011 in Florence. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.\

Mr. McCoard lived most of his life in South Jackson. He was the owner of Air Doctors in Jackson. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and avid Fisherman, and loved all LSU sports. \

Mr. McCoard is preceded in death by his wife Louis Fields McCoard in 1997. He is survived by his step daughters, Agnes Ingram of Natchez and Doris Shows of Florence; and sister, Betty M. Keller of NY,NY. \
