Mrs. Frances Edwards Richmond

Frances Edwards Richmond passed into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at her home in Florence. She was 75 years old. The family will hold a Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Heritage Baptist Church, 5911 Terry Road Byram, MS 39272. Frances was born June 19, 1946 in Kosciusko, MS to the late Joel Henry and Katherin Estelle Edwards. She was raised in Grenada, MS an eventually made Florence her home. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Byram. She loved her son dearly and was a strong, single mom for much of her son’s life. She was the neighborhood mom who helped raise many many children. She exhibited so much mercy, kindness and patience with other. She was also very intelligent and fun loving. Along with her parents, Frances was also preceded in death by her husband, James Richmond; her In-laws, Marion Elton Richmond and Effie Richmond; 1 brother and 2 sisters.
