Frances Lee Cleveland

Frances Lee Cleveland, 83, a devoted and loving wife, mother, and Mamaw, has left behind a legacy of kindness and compassion that will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and friends. Frances was born on November 2, 1940, in Isola, MS, and peacefully passed away on March 8, 2024, in Raleigh, MS.
 
In her early years, Frances embarked on a fulfilling journey by marrying Marvin D. Cleveland Jr. in 1958. Their union of 65 years was a testament to their enduring love until Marvin's passing in 2022. Throughout her life, Frances dedicated herself wholeheartedly to caring for her family as a stay-at-home wife and mother.
 
Frances was a proud member of the Red Hat Society. She found joy in simple pleasures like sewing, cooking delicious meals, and sharing beauty control products with those around her. Frances was a dedicated member of Star Baptist Church where she grew in her relationship and faith in God.
 
Frances is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Marvin D. Cleveland Jr., as well as her parents Shedd and Kathleen McWhorter Trippe. She is survived by her loving daughter Cathy C Glaze and husband Tom of Florence; sons Marvin D. "Dee" Cleveland III of Florence and Joey Cleveland and wife Fancy; grandchildren Morgan Leigh Bailey and husband Ray of Brandon, Kari Renee Cook and husband Caleb of Florence, and Brandi Marie Bonner and husband Wyatt of Mendenhall; great-grandchildren Lawsyn Kate Cook, Swayze Elizabeth Cook, Brentley Bonner, and Gentry Bonner; along with three nieces, extended family members, and numerous friends.
 
The memories Frances created as a devoted mother and grandmother will forever be cherished by those whose lives she touched. Her legacy of love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
 
Services to honor the life of Frances Lee Cleveland will be held at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence on Tuesday ,March 12th. The visitation will take place from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will be conducted at Lakewood Memorial Park South in Jackson at 12:15 PM.
