Elizabeth "Renee" Tatum

Elizabeth Renee Fisher Tatum went with Jesus on April 27, 2023, after a year long battle with cancer.

A Celebration of Life is being held Saturday, May 6, 2023, at St. Mark’s Methodist Church. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Service at 11 a.m.

She was born June 17, 1981. Renee was a cheerleader at Peeples Middle School & graduated from Forest Hill High School in 1999.

As a nail technician at Images Salon in Ridgeland for 20+ years, she took pride in making sure her clients & everyone she came in contact with left the shop with a smile.

Her children were her heart & soul, attending every event they were involved in. Whether a football, softball or volleyball game, she was there encouraging & cheering the team on. Blistering heat, freezing temperatures or pouring rain never stopped her.

She was preceded in death by her Daddy, Danny Wayne “Fish” Fisher; maternal grandparents, Franklin & Lottie Simmons of Jackson & paternal grandparents Danny & Marjorie Fisher of Crystal Springs.

She is survived by her children, Seth, Sadie & Sophie Tatum of Brandon; brother, Joseph Fisher of Richland; sister, Licia Moak of Terry; mother, Diane Roberts of Brandon; 3 nieces, 4 nephews & the special little great niece she called her grandbaby, BetsyRae Jane Sullivan.
