Elizabeth Ellen Sayers, affectionately known as Beth, was born on July 3, 1960, in Jackson, Mississippi, and she departed this life peacefully on April 14, 2025. She was born to Harmon McAlpin Scarbrough and Patrician Ann Ruff Scarbrough.
Throughout her life, Beth dedicated herself to the field of customer service, spending many rewarding years at a cleaners, where her warmth and friendliness made lasting impressions on her customers and colleagues alike.
Beth was a vibrant individual who had an undeniable love for colorful and sparkly clothes. She often described herself as “innocent to a fault,” reflecting her pure-hearted nature and genuine spirit. Her laughter and joy were infectious, drawing those around her into her bright world.
In her leisure, Beth found immense joy in planting and nurturing flowers, creating beautiful spaces that reflected her love for nature. She had a zest for life that was evident in her fondness for visiting casinos alongside her "besties,” Debbie George, who predeceased her, and Debbie's beloved mother, Esther. Beth had a profound love for animals, especially horses, and her cherished Chiweenie, Bella, was her loyal companion, bringing her comfort and joy. Many times she would just go riding with Doni and Amy and listen to music get out of the house.
Her greatest treasures were her family, especially her grandchildren. Beth is survived by her two daughters, Jamie Willis (Bubba) and Angela "Nikki" Pearson (Chris)Nicholas, Isabelle, and Baylin Pearson, along with Bud, Rayce, Ryder, and Ethan Willis.
Beth is now reunited in memory with those she has lost, including her parents, Harmon and Patricia Scarbrough, her brother, Mac Scarbrough, and her grandson, Christopher Pearson. As well as her best friend, Debbie George.
