Elizabeth Ann Atkins

Elizabeth Ann Atkins died on Friday, July 28, 2023, in Florence, MS.  She was 74 years old. The family will have a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. on August 1, 2023, in the Garden of Memories.

Mrs. Ann was born on March 12, 1949, in Ellisville, MS where she attended school and lived her early years. She has lived in the Florence community since 1989 where she was a member of Briarhill Baptist Church. She dated Mr. Roy Atkins for a year before marrying him on January 12, 1969, at First Baptist Church of Richland. Mrs. Ann worked for Economic and Community Development for 30 years and for the MS World Trade Center for 8 years. She loved country music and attending Fanfare in Nashville, TN. She enjoyed going to the casino and playing the slot machines and hanging out with her friends.

Mrs. Ann is survived by her husband of 53 years, Mr. Roy Atkins of Pearl.
