Elaine B. Byrd

\ Elaine Brinson Byrd 87, died Sunday morning August 31st at her home. Visitation will be Monday, September 1st from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, Mississippi. Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Florence, MS. with visitation 1 hour prior to services. Burial will be at Clear Branch Cemetery. Mrs. Byrd was a lifelong resident of the Clear Branch Community. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Byrd, mother and father Jadie and Alma Brinson, grandchildren, Tracy Byrd and Greg Hemphill, brothers Joseph and Glynn Brinson. Survivors are son, Freddie (Frances) Byrd, Betty Jo (Alton) Hemphill, Nancy (Richard) Grantham, brother Frank Brinson and sister, Pearl Quick all of Florence, Ms, Grandchildren, Earl (Lisa) Byrd, Jeff (Lori) Hemphill, Chad (Melissa) Grantham, and Jessica (Kevin) Wade, and 8 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church Building Fund.\
