Edwena Lowther

Mrs. Edwena, 89, died from a lengthy illness at Hospice Ministries Saturday, September 12, 2009. She was born to Ed and Doshie Neely of Plain, MS.\ \ She leaves behind her husband of 67 years, Edwin W. Lowther, Sr.; sons: Edwin W. "Buddy" (Kitsy) Lowther, Jr. of Flora and Bill N. (Becky) Lowther of Madison; sister, Virginia Neely Taylor of Jackson; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.\ \ Visitation will be at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence on Tuesday 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. and Wednesday 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. with chapel service at 11 a.m.\ \ Edwena was a member of St. Lukes Methodist Church of Jackson for over 40 years.\ \ In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Lukes Methodist Church
