Mrs. Dorothy Lee Dent, 81, of Florence, died Thursday June 19, 2008 at her home.\ \ Visitation will be 2-5pm Sunday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram\ \ Funeral services will be 10am Monday at the funeral home with burial following at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Jackson.\ \ Mrs. Dent had lived in the Florence area for the past 5 years and at Eagle Lake for the 5 years prior. Before that she had been a resident of South Jackson. She was a member of Alta Woods Baptist Church.\ \ She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Cliff Dent; her sons, Jim Dent and wife Bobbie of Florence and David Dent and wife Suzanne, of Richland; her daughter, Francis Dent Thrash and husband Terry, of Virginia Beach, VA; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
