Mrs. Dorothy Nell Graham Parker

Dorothy Parker, 97, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. A private family graveside will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Floral Hills Memory Garden in Pearl, MS. Born to Curtis and Alice Graham in Quitman, MS on August 25, 1923, Dorothy lived in Jackson, MS until she became a resident of Riggs Manor within the last ten years. She married her husband, Leon Parker on January 10, 1944. Mrs. Parker was formerly employed as a nurse’s assistant at Hinds General Hospital and later at the Woman’s Hospital. For many years, she was a member of Woodville Heights, now First Baptist Church of Byram. Along with her husband, she is preceded in death by her four brothers. She is survived by her sons, William L. Parker (Brenda) and Ricky L. Parker (Lynn); six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
