Dolores Parker of Raymond, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026. She was born on March 4, 1937, in Jackson, Mississippi, to Albert and Eula Boyles.

Dolores lived a life marked by faith, kindness, and resilience. She loved the Lord deeply, and it did not take long for anyone who spoke with her to recognize the important place her faith held in her life. She did not simply talk about her faith—she lived it out through the way she treated others and cared for the people around her.

Dolores treasured her family and friends and especially cherished the fellowship she shared with her Parkside Baptist Church family. She found great joy in spending time with the people she loved and creating the lasting memories that mattered most.

Dolores retired after 30 years of dedicated service as executive assistant to Richard Puckett and Ben Puckett of Puckett Machinery. Her years of commitment and service reflected the dependable and caring person she was.

At home, Dolores loved to cook, especially baking. She was well known for her delicious Christmas treats, which became a special part of the holiday memories shared by her family and friends. Her kitchen was a place where love was expressed through food, fellowship, and time together.

Dolores believed in treasuring the simple things in life—the things that truly matter. Time with family and friends, conversations shared, meals prepared with love, and memories made together were among her greatest treasures.

Dolores was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William “Bill” H. Parker, and her son, Clay Parker.

She leaves behind her sons, Scott Parker and Grant Parker (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Aaron Parker (Allie) of Raleigh, North Carolina; Hannah Parker of Florence, Mississippi; and Meredith Parker-Feeney (Evan) of Dunwoody, Georgia; and her great-grandchildren, Gracelyn Cozart, Leyton Parker, Silas Parker, Dakota Cook, and George Feeney.

Dolores will be remembered for her unwavering faith, gentle kindness, strength, and devotion to the people she loved. Her life was a beautiful example of finding joy in the simple blessings of family, friendship, faith, and service. The love she shared and the memories she created will continue to live on through the generations she leaves behind.

Though she will be deeply missed, her family can take comfort in knowing that the Lord she loved and served throughout her life has welcomed her home.

Graveside Service: 11:00 a.m., Lakewood Memorial Park, Family and friends are invited to gather together to honor Dolores's life and celebrate the beautiful legacy of faith and love she leaves behind.
