Mrs. Diane Gonrich Pouns

Diane Gonrich Pouns, 65, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 11am until 1:00pm Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00pm Thursday in the funeral home chapel followed by interment at Rosemont Gardens. Mrs. Pouns was born in Jackson, MS to the late Robert & Getty Gonrich. She had lived in Brandon since 1987 having come from Jackson and worked for Southland Management Corp. as Accounts Receivable Clerk. She was a member of Flowood Baptist Church where she sang in the adult choir and was a part of Friendship Sunday School Class. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Keith Gonrich. Survivors include her husband of 19 months Don Pouns of Brandon; daughter Lindsey Hathorn Carr of Brandon; sister Jan Bishop of Byram; grandchild Hayes Carr; nieces Mandy Bishop and Shelly Fitzpatrick both of Byram.
