Diane Marie Fortenberry

Diane Marie Fortenberry, 71, entered rest at her home in Terry Friday, November 4, 2022.  A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Oak Grove Cemetery in Simpson County.

Diane was born July 26, 1951, in Mobile, AL to Farest and Billie Jean Polk. She was a resident of Terry for the past 20 years where she was a member of Wynndale Baptist Church. She was a beautician for many years. She loved to sew, cross stitch, paint, work in her garden and enjoyed cooking.

She was preceded her in death are her parents, Farest and Billie Jean Harris Polk; Husband, Ronnie Fortenberry in 2011; sister, Cheryl Hughes and brother, Calvin Polk.  Those left to cherish her memory are son, Grayson Fortenberry and wife, Kathleen of Terry; grandsons, Austin, and Daniel Fortenberry of Terry; brother, Darren Polk and his wife Ann of Satartia and numerous nieces and nephews.
