Dennis Roy Adcock, born on January 29, 1946, in Jackson, Mississippi, passed away on May 22, 2025, with family by his side. He was a dedicated and meticulous machinist for Eaton Aerospace and earned a reputation as a jack of all trades, displaying his diverse skills with pride.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Dennis had a variety of hobbies that brought him great joy throughout his life. He was passionate about gardening, horse riding, carpentry, and mechanics. He often spent his free time helping family and friends on various projects, and there was nothing he couldn’t fix. Most of all Dennis enjoyed spending his time with family, his wife Anita, and his dog Cotton. He also cherished making memories on family vacations in the Great Smokey Mountains.

Dennis is survived by his loving family, including his sons, James Ray Adcock (Kristi), Jeff Adcock (Angie), Justin Adcock (Andrea), and Allen Robertson (Lisa); his daughter, Tammy Robertson; brothers, Ricky Adcock (Angela) and Danny Adcock (Monica); his sister, Barbara Gipson May; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Lonnie Lee Adcock and Hilda Jane Curtis Adcock; his beloved wife of 39 years, Anita Kennedy Adcock; his daughter, Denise Hubbard; and his brothers, Curtis Adcock, Prentiss Adcock, and Donald Adcock.

A graveside service to honor Dennis will be held on May 27, 2025, at Richland Cemetery in Richland, Mississippi. It will commence at 12:00 PM.

Dennis Roy Adcock will be remembered as a cherished, husband, father, grandfather, and friend, whose legacy will continue to live on through his family and the many lives he touched.
