David Wayne "Dave" Davis

David Wayne “Dave” Davis, 61 of Jackson, MS passed away May 28, 2021 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation is 9am – 10:30am Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram with 11am graveside service at Springridge United Methodist Church Cemetery in Terry. Dave worked for the Dept of Environmental Quality (DEQ) for 34 years. He liked to travel and work in his yard. He always had a beautiful yard. Dave is survived by his mother, Sue Davis, a sister Sherry Pearson ( Glynn), 3 nieces: Tessa Matthews (Marko), Jessica Truesdill and Heather Pittman (Reecy), a special first cousin, Susan Ray, and his special aunt, Mant. He was preceded in death by his father, Jewel Davis.
