Born on December 27, 1984, in Jackson, Mississippi, David was known to his loved ones simply as David. He was a man whose hands brought forth beauty in all he touched, demonstrating a rare gift for plumbing and craftsmanship that set him apart from many.

David spent his career working as a plumber, nearly elevating his trade to an art form. His keen eye for detail and innate creativity allowed him to transform everyday objects into stunning pieces through sheer skill and dedication. He is survived by his devoted parents, James David Summerlin and Sherry Lynn Clark-Summerlin, who eternally cherished their son. David leaves behind his four beloved children, London Summerlin Huggins, Eden Lloyd, Eliza Grayce Summerlin, and Izabella Raine Summerlin each a testament to the love and joy he carried within his heart. His nurturing spirit and insightful guidance will surely echo through the lives of his children, who will remember him fondly.

David’s family also includes his dear brothers, Dustin (Katrisha Murillo) Summerlin of Pearl and Joshua Scott (April) Summerlin of Mount Olive, who shared his laughter and his dreams. He will forever be missed by his ex-wife, Courtnee Summerlin, with whom he shared precious memories and moments.

In addition to his immediate family, David was supported by his adoring grandparents, Emmett Clark and Kathleen Clark of Star, MS, who played significant roles in his upbringing and nurtured his creative spirit. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Billy Summerlin and Elaine Summerlin, who are now together again with him in spirit.

David Clark Summerlin lived his life imbued with passion, artistry, and a deep love for his family.
