Mr. David L. Shirley

David, age 54, died suddenly at his home on 10/13/2013. He attended Wingfield High School. He was gifted with the ability to learn karate at a very early age and earned his black belt under David Mabry. Family and friends will gather Friday, Oct 18 at Chancellor Funeral Home, Bryam from 2 until the 4:00 PM Service to celebrate his life. He is preceded in death by his mother, Ms. Catherine E. (Willis) Shirley. He is survived by his son David C. Boydston; wife Stephanie and his grandchild, Hayes L. Boydston. Father, Mr.G.B. Shirley and wife, Mary Nell Shirley; Sisters Linda Pope (Edwin); Tracey E. Barnes and many nieces & nephews. The family has asked in lieu of sending flowers you are free to make a donation to the funeral home for help with burial expenses.
