David Lamar Bigby, 55 died at St. Dominics Hospital on February 10, 2010. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Monday, February 15, 2010 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Graveside services will follow in Florence City Cemetery at 2 p.m.\

Mr. Bigby did farm work on James Weathersby's farm. His pastime was spent fishing, working on cars and playing dominoes. \

He is survived by his mother, Katha Bigby of Florence; brothers: Glenn Bigby of Byram and Harold Bigby of Jackson; sisters: Carol Devine of Florence, Shirley Davis of Jackson and Faye Jones of Brandon and numerous nieces and nephews.\
