Daryl Scott Crowder, 56, of Pearl, Mississippi, passed away on April 10, 2026. He was born on December 29, 1969, to the late William Earl Crowder Jr. and Linda Barrett Phillips.
Scott attended Pearl High School and was a member of East Flow Church. He spent much of his adult life working in the hospitality industry in Massachusetts before later moving to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he worked for CRST Trucking Company.
Scott was truly one of a kind—a wanderer at heart with an adventurous spirit. He traveled extensively, visiting 48 out of 50 states, always seeking new experiences and perspectives. He had a deep knowledge of the Bible and found joy in sharing his studies and insights with others.
Known for his intelligence and quick wit, Scott brought laughter and conversation wherever he went. He enjoyed long drives, late nights, good music, and family game nights. A true coffee connoisseur, he appreciated both life’s simple pleasures and its greatest adventures.
Scott had a natural curiosity about life and found his greatest joy in spending time with his nieces and nephew, as well as his beloved furry nieces and nephews. He cherished his large extended family and especially looked forward to gathering with his cousins during Easter and Christmas.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; his father, William Earl Crowder Jr.; his stepfather, Gene Dale Phillips; his stepsister, Donna Hyde; his nephew, Hayden Boyde; and his brother-in-law, Jeff Traylor.
He is survived by his loving mother, Linda Phillips; his sister, Christi Traylor; his brother, Gill Phillips (Anna); his sister, Nikki Boyd (John); his brother, Trey Crowder (Bridgett); and his stepbrothers, Roger Phillips and Greg Phillips. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Scott will be remembered for his free spirit, his humor, his faith, and the love he shared with those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
