Danny Dale Sebren, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, passed away on April 28, 2026, in his home in Brandon, Mississippi. Born on April 17, 1944, in Burbank, California, to Harold Von Sebren and Mary Ida Chapman.
Danny lived a life defined by his love for family, a love for old cars, as well as steadfast service to his community and church. His faith was the cornerstone of his life. He proudly served as a deacon at First Baptist Church of Byram and was an active member of the Gideons International, organizations through which he demonstrated his unwavering love for the Lord and commitment to getting bibles into the hands of the people that could not purchase one of their own.
Professionally, Danny dedicated many years working in security at Mississippi College, where his commitment to safety and vigilance left a lasting impression. Beyond his career, he was a skilled artist who found great joy in working with leather and carving wood, hobbies that allowed him to express his creativity and patience. Danny also enjoyed fishing, often finding peace and contentment by the water.
Danny is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Loretta Young Sebren; their daughter, Lori Lee (Benjamin) and their granddaughter, Sadie Grace Lee. Danny also leaves behind a cherished extended family, including his brother-in-law Robert Young (Andy); nephew Mike Morlock (Christy); nieces Marci Pilling (Gary), and Mary Linda Morlock; as well as numerous great nephews, nieces and cousins who carry forward his legacy of kindness and devotion.
Both of his parents preceded him in death, along with his sister, Patricia Birdsong.
