Chris Martin

\ Chris Martin, 22, of Florence passed from this life into the arms of Christ on Saturday, June 23, 2012. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 26th from 5-8 and on Wednesday from noon until the 2:00 funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Interment will follow the funeral service at Overstreet Cemetery.\ \ Serving Jesus was Chris' passion in life. He was also deeply devoted to his family and his church where he played bass guitar. Chris was an avid bass fisherman and hunter. Loved by all, he was a joy filled, gentle soul. \ \ Chris was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard Martin. He is survived by his parents Todd and Cindy Martin of Florence; his brothers Brandon of Florence, and Blake of Vicksburg; his Paternal Grandmother Linda (David) Warren; his paternal great-grandmother, Mary Errington; his maternal grandparents Danny and Brenda Walton all of Florence. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles: Rebecca and Ryan Engel, Debbie and Phillip Huff, Paul Ford, Harry and Beverly Bates, Sherri and David Klienhan, Duane Walton, and Susan and Ernie Culpepper. Surviving cousins include Lindsay Huff, P.K. Huff, Laura Toles, Tyler Martin, Laramie Mitchell and a host of loving family members and friends. \
