Charlotte Tinnon, age of 67, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. She was born on February 3, 1955, in Ruleville, to the late Roy Lee Horton and Oma Dee Horton (Fulcher). Charlotte was the youngest of eleven children.. Charlotte was retired from Harrisville Post Office where she loved the people she would meet within the community. Charlotte was happily married to Edward “Butch” Tinnon Sr. for 46 years at the time of her death. They were blessed to have three children: Edward Tinnon Jr., Amy Beck, and Daniel Tinnon.

Charlotte was loving wife, mother and grandmother. Many would describe her as very independent woman who never wanted anyone to worry about her. Charlotte will be remembered as a selfless, altruistic mother and wife who always had a smile, even when times were tough.

Preceding her death were her mother and father, two brother, six sisters, and her son, Edward “Butch” Tinnon Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Edward Tinnon Sr.; daughter, Amy Beck of Brandon, MS; son, Daniel Tinnon (Candace) of Calhoun City, MS; sister, Brenda Lessley of Avon; brother, William Horton (Ann) of Boyle, MS.; her 10 grandchildren, Amber Burnley (David), Haydan Tinnon, Matthew Jordan, Edward “Toby” Tinnon III, Nathan Tinnon, Paytan Tinnon, Tinley Tinnon, Jaida Bequette, Nicholas Beck and Della-Rae Tinnon; her 2 great grandson, Izayah and Malachi Burnley; and a host of family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date.
