Charles Davis Stewart

Charles Davis Stewart, 76, died Saturday, Aug 23, 2008 at his home in Terry.\ \ Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 8 P.M. Monday at Chancellor Funeral Home, Byram. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Tuesday in the Funeral Home chapel with Burial in Lakewood Memorial Park.\ \ A native of Byram, Mr Stewart had lived in Terry for the past Year, moving there from South Jackson. Mr. Stewart worked for MS Valley Gas Company from 1955 until retiring in 1994 and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy Sea Bee's in the Korean Conflict.\ Mr. Stewart was a 32Degree Mason in the Forest Hill Lodge and a Wahabi Temple Shriner. \ \ He is preceded in death by his wife Sylvia Stewart and Mother Ruth Stewart.\ \ He is survived by his daughters: Melanie Stewart of Jackson, Mara Gordy and Husband Greg of Cummins, Ga., and Charlette Oswalt of Terry; Four Grandchildren Alyx Gordy, Chad, Kelsey, and Chase Owsalt; Sister Lucy Leverette of Madison and Brother J.M. Stewart of Terry.\
