Cecil Bounds

Cecil Lafayette Bounds, 59, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at UMC in Jackson. Visitation will be 6-8pm Friday, February 24 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 11am Saturday, February 25 at First Pentecostal Church of Jackson, with a one hour visitation prior to service time at the church. Interment will follow at Lakewood South.\ \ Mr. Bounds was reared in Sebastapol, MS, and lived most of his life in Byram.\ He retired from Packard Electric and was a developer of Springhill Estates. Mr. Bounds was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. He was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Jackson.\ \ Survivors include his four daughters, Cecilia (Brian) Bell of Lake Jackson, TX, Becky (Kip) Barrier of Holly Springs, Tracy (Steven) Cooksey of Meridian and Holly Bounds of Brandon; brother, Dennis Bounds of Terry; sisters, Regina Horne of Byram and Wanda Hodge of Terry; and 8 grandchildren.\ \
