Mrs. Carrol Dean Lewis

Carrol Dean Lewis, 84, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Highland Home in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS from 11:00 a.m.—12:00 p.m. with a graveside service to follow at Lakewood South Memorial Park in Jackson, MS at 12:30 p.m. Due to the current pandemic, 10 people will be allowed in the funeral home at a time and face masks are required. A long-time resident of Jackson, MS, Carrol was born to Robert Erchel Bryant and Nonnie Jewel Middleton Bryant on May 14, 1936 in Smith County, MS. She spent most of her working life employed in retail management where she loved helping and interacting with people. She was a member of Southside Assembly of God and the Order of the Eastern Star. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Lewis and sons, Robert and Frank Lewis. She is survived by her daughter, Regenia (Cade) Ferguson of Brandon; brothers, Ray Bryant and Bewell Bryant, both of Pearl; grandchildren, Brandi Irwin, Colton Lewis, and Drew and Grayson Ferguson; and great-grandchildren, Gage Irwin.
