Mrs. Carol Ann Hammond Williams

Carol Ann Hammond Williams, 74, died peacefully at home on Saturday, September 27, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy & Oree Hammond, her brother J.D. Hammond, and her sister Erma Jackson. Carol graduated Central High School and attended Hinds Community College. She loved her 2 dogs, Bubba and Cinco. She worked in banking, and worked at Warren Brothers, Inc., and later retired from Entergy. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, George E. Williams; step-children, George “Eddie” Williams, Jr. of Homestead, FL, Shirley Dianne Helfrich of Pachuta, MS and Lisa Dawn Scott of Clinton, MS; and two sisters, Betty George of Aloha, OR and Ellen (Troy) Welch of Terry, MS along with many other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Wynndale Steak House in Terry from 2-4pm. In lieu of flowers please give to the Animal Rescue League.
