Buddy M. Frith

Buddy M. Frith, born on January 28, 1948, in Tallulah, Louisiana, passed away on April 19, 2026, in Beaumont, Texas. He was a dedicated and hardworking man who spent his career working as an engine and boat repairer. Buddy was known for his love of the outdoors and simple pleasures in life.

Those who knew Buddy will remember his fondness for fishing and the special joy he found in spending time with his grandchildren. He had a deep appreciation for western books, often immersing himself in their stories. Another gentle and unique part of his character was his habit of feeding the deer, an activity that brought him peace and happiness.

Buddy is survived by his children: Matt Frith, Scott Frith, and Angel Bridges. He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren, who were a source of great joy to him. Also surviving Buddy is his sister, Charlese Patrick. Their love and support remain strong as they carry forward his memory.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Frith, and his parents, Arbert Mallory and Florice Sykes. He also joins his siblings Jean Fortenberry, Mickey Loper, and Kenny Frith, who have gone before him.

Family, friends, and all who appreciated Buddy are invited to pay their respects during the visitation, which will be held on April 30, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Chancellor Funeral Home Florence, located at 2576 US 49 in Florence, Mississippi. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at 4:00 PM at Florence City Cemetery on Cemetery Street in Florence, MS.

Buddy’s life touched many through his kindness, quiet strength, and the simple joys he embraced. He will be remembered and missed deeply by those who loved him.
