Brandon Lee Coleman

Brandon Lee Coleman passed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at MS Baptist Hospital in Jackson. He was 23 years old.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 13^th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. The funeral service will be Sunday, August 14^th at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Florence, with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. He will be laid to rest at Clear Branch Cemetery.

Brandon was born December 2, 1998, to Lee and Tammie Coleman in Flowood, MS.  Along with his parents, he is also survived by his brother, Matthew Coleman; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Shirley Beck and Carol Smith; his grandfather, Colon Smith; and his cousins, Jonathan Dover and Joshua Smith.

Brandon was a fun, witty, sarcastic soul with a big heart who was loved by many in his 23 years on this earth. He was an avid car lover and loved his mustang. He also loved fishing with his dad, watching movies with his mama, and vacationing in the Great Smoky Mountains. He loved playing video games with his brother and his friends or just hanging out. He also loved his Air National Guard family. Most importantly, Brandon was a Christ follower, and we know that one day we will be reunited with him.

The family would like to give a special thanks to one of Brandon’s best friends, Adam Perry, who has been like a brother and has been by Brandon’s side through his cancer journey.
