Bobbye Whitty

Bobbye J. Whitty died Friday, December 24, 2010 at her residence. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-5pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram and Monday from 10 am until the 11am service in the Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Johnson Cemetery in Crystal Springs.\ \ A native of Crystal Springs, Mrs. Whitty has lived in the Harrisville area, moving there from South Jackson. She was a long time representative of Avon and a Parishioner of St. Terese Catholic Church.\ \ She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Whitty in 1998. She is survived by her sons, Mike (Bonnie) Whitty of Terry and David (Laura) Whitty of Harrisville; daughters, Sandi Palmer of Leland, North Carolina and Tami (Jim) Harreld of Gluckstadt; brother, Carrol Johnson of Houston, TX; sister, Earline Puckett of Raleigh; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.\
