Bo Byrd

William Allen "Bo" Byrd, 70, died Friday December 7, 2007 at his residence of a heart attack. Visitation was 1-2 pm Saturday before the 2pm service at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Burial was at Clear Branch Cemetery.\ \ The son of Mary Byrd and the late Jim Byrd, "Bo" was born on February 2, 1937. He was a devout Christian, a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was devoted to his family, his pastor, church family and his many friends. He loved music, especially "Blue Grass Gospel. \ \ Survivors other than his mother include brother, Jerry Byrd of Ridgeland; sister, Jeannette Harper of Florence and many nieces and nephews. \ \ In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church Building Fund, 2194 White Road, Florence, MS 39073. \
