With love and gratitude for a beautiful life, the family of Barbara June Ball announces her passing.
Barbara was a lifelong resident of Terry, Mississippi, a place she called home and loved dearly. She also spent a few years living in Jackson and Clinton, but Terry always remained close to her heart. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Terry, where her faith and community were an important part of her life.
Barbara was a woman who found joy in the simple and beautiful things in life, but her greatest joy was found in spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved gardening, being outdoors, and spending time surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation. She had a love for travel and enjoyed seeing the world whenever she had the opportunity. Some of her most treasured adventures included bus tours and trips with Seth out of the country to places such as Canada, Germany, Scotland, and Great Britain. She enjoyed the experience of going, seeing, learning, and making memories along the way.
Those who knew Barbara will remember her for the life she lived, the places she went, the family she loved, and the memories she leaves behind. She carried a quiet strength and a graceful spirit, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Seth P. Ball; her parents, Drewey McDonald and Lilly Mae Crain McDonald; and her son, Lance Ball.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Mark Ball (Debra); her daughter-in-law, Michelle Ball; her grandchildren, Liza Miller (Johnathan), Brooke Ball, Zach Ball (Tiffany), Philip Ball, Anna Ball, and Seth Ball; five great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends who were blessed to know and love her.
Though her earthly journey has come to an end, Barbara’s love, strength, and memory will continue to live on through her family and through the many lives she touched. Her life was one of faith, family, beauty, and adventure, and she will be remembered with great love.
