Anthony Bennett, 75, of Florence MS, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2026.
Visitation will be held at Antioch Baptist Church, Thursday July 23, from 12-2 pm, with funeral service to follow.
Anthony was born in Crystal Springs, MS, on October 5, 1950, to parents Emery and Frances Bennett.
Anthony is survived by his wife Kathy Bennett; children, Pam Dortch, Chris (Jennifer) Harper, and Marlene (Chet) Ware, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; brother, Johnny (Jean) Bennett, sisters Janice (Danny) Brinson and Sonya (Stan) Williams, and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Clarence Bennett and Dwayne Bennett.
Anthony served in Vietnam as a member of the United States Army, receiving a bronze star. He was employed by Tellus Operating Group, Pearl, MS, and retired in 2013. Anthony enjoyed traveling and fishing and spending time with family and friends, especially during the holidays.
