Angela Dawn Walters, a guiding light, illuminated heaven’s gates on Friday, January 2, 2025.
The daughter of David and Patricia Grice, Angela lived to serve others. She dedicated more than twenty years as treasurer and “Momma Angela” of the Sharon Booster Club. For her church, she played an integral role on the hospitality team; and for her family, she worked to fill her home with happiness, laughter, and love.
She lived according to Exodus 14:14, and God answered in her stillness. She poured hours of her time into her Bible and prayer journals while being an anchor to her husband of thirty years, her children, and her fur babies, Abby and Rylee (also known as “The Boss”). She was a true friend, a minister of the Word, a faithful shopping companion, an ice cream and chocolate enthusiast, a beach bum, a loyal Del Sol patron, and a lover of cheetah print. But above all, she was the hand who led others to Christ and the heart of her family.
She is preceded in death by her father, David Grice; she is survived by many who will miss her dearly, including her husband and the love of her life, Brett; her children, Zach Walters (Neena) and Rece Walters (Morgan); her brother, Andy Grice (Laura); her brothers-in-law, Dwayne Walters (Ronda) and Brad (Alyssa) Dennis; her sisters-in-law, Kaylyn Walters and Stephanie (James) Goldmon; her nieces, Shelby Allen (Bryars) and Kristen Nowell (Ryan); her mother, Patricia DeLano (Scott); her father-in-law and her mother-in-law, Aaron and Rosie Walters; and her best friends, Alicia, Bo, and Madison Gieger.
North Laurel Church will host a visitation for Angela on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 10:00am to 12:00 pm with a service to follow at the same location. A graveside will then take place at Taylor-Walters Cemetery.
