Angela Denise Richardson

Angela Denise Richardson went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 19, 2025, in Jackson, Mississippi, at the age of 65.

Angela was born on November 8, 1960, in Houma, Louisiana, to Mary Sue Flanagan. She was known for her infectious laugh, warm spirit, and outgoing personality. Angela truly never met a stranger—she had a way of making everyone feel instantly welcome. She had a deep love for animals and was a devoted LSU fan—GEAUX TIGERS!

Angela was a beautiful soul whose love and kindness touched everyone she encountered. She greeted the world with a genuine smile, and her laughter and words of encouragement brought comfort to so many. She had an enormous heart and an infectious warmth that made people feel seen, valued, and loved. Though she had no children of her own, Angela was a mother figure to many.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Daniel Parker III; her mother, Mary Sue Hawkins; her brother, Robert Flanagan; and her aunt, Tina Nickens.

Angela leaves to cherish her memory her brother, Wes Hawkins (Michelle); her niece, Jessica Flanagan, and her children, Ashlynn, Evan, and Addy Sue; her aunt, Ruby Ainsworth; her uncle, Bubba Flanagan; along with many other extended family members and dear friends.

The family will receive friends and extended family for visitation from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at First Methodist Church of Richland, with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 p.m.
