Mrs. Willie Mae McKinley, 64, passed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, April 28, 2019 in Florence. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, April 30th from 5:00 -8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday, May 1st from 12:00 p.m. until the 1:00 p.m. Funeral Service all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Clear Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Willie Mae was born in Philadelphia, MS to Andrew and Ethel Watkins. She spent many years as a floral designer with Chris Florist. A Christian lady, she was a faithful member of Clear Branch Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and canning. She was the recipient of three donated kidneys and a liver. She used her experience to raise awareness about organ donation by volunteering with MORA for many years. Through all of her suffering, she never complained Along with her parents, Mrs. McKinley is preceded in death by her grandson, Benjamin McKinley, and her brothers, Roger Earl Watkins and Mike Watkins. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Roger Dale McKinley, Sr. of Florence; her son, Roger Dale McKinley, Jr. (Penny) of Albany, LA; her daughter, Patricia Long (Kevin) of Georgetown, TX; her brothers, David Watkins of Pass Christian, MS and Jerry Watkins (Dianne) of Walnut Grove, MS; her sister, Donna Sue Ward (Johnny) of Pearl, MS, grandchildren, Justin Long, Leanna Walker (Chris) Hunter McKinley and Matthew McKinley; and her great grandchildren, Kayden McKinley and Kennedy Westmoreland.
